Kelly Services is seeking **Third Party Risk Analysts** for an American holding company for various life insurance companies and investment firms operating primarily in the United States, offering life and supplemental health insurance, investments, and retirement services.



**Job Title: Third Party Risk Analyst**

Location: Plano, TX or Remote

Job Type: Temporary

Length: 6-Months

Est. Start Date: 10/26/2020

Hours: 40 hours/week, 8 hours/day

Pay Rate: $45 - $55 per hour



**Description:**



Responsible for working with the Functional Business Area (FBA) and key subject matter experts to manage the risk exposure from engaging third party service providers. This includes the identification, analysis, reporting, and control of risks that are posed by these relationships throughout the third party life cycle to ensure compliance with internal policies and controls, laws, and regulations.

Third Party Risk Management experience mandatory. Second line of defense preferred but will consider first line of defense.

Ensure risk is being managed throughout third party life cycle (planning, due diligence, contract, transition, on-going monitoring, and exit).

Work closely with FBA senior managers and managers to ensure awareness and

understanding of third party risk program requirements and associated risk within their

portfolios.

Coordinate with FBA, third party provider and designated subject matter experts (SME) to

develop and facilitate risk management strategy; execute third party control risk assessment

to identify control weaknesses. Ensure remediation action plans are properly documented,

and monitor action plans through resolution. Escalate to appropriate third party risk

management as appropriate.

Ensure required risk management activities and control weaknesses are remediated prior to

contract execution with third party provider or appropriate risk acceptance is documented and

approved by FBA senior management.

Ensure appropriate systems are updated, remediation action plans to address control weaknesses are documents and approved by appropriate stakeholders.

Act as a SME to educate the FBA on program requirements.


**Skills Needed:**

Confidence and tact to challenge and negotiate responses to risk assessment questionnaire.

Ability to gather data manually from systems and both electronic and paper documents.

Ability to problem solve and make decisions

Ability to analyze current processes/procedures and partner with Business Units to update to meet program requirements

Ability to prioritize workload and adhere to deadlines

Good communications skills

Good Excel Skills

Attention to detail

Works well with others

Ability to communicate clearly what is needed from multiple SMEs

Understands verbal and written directions

Independent & self-motivated

Strong oral and written communication skills


**Nice to have:** CTPRP or other third party risk designations.
