As the Training Coordinator, you are one of the key elements that helps retain talent and keep employees engaged. You are a specialist helping to build lasting relationships and drive candidate engagement throughout the entire new hiring training process. The Training Coordinator promotes and coordinates a proactive and effective Plant training program, to meet department and individual goals.

As the Training Coordinator you will provide a resource to assist teams and individuals in determining the appropriate training to meet the needs and goals. You will be working with the Site Training Specialist to leverage and coordinate resources.

**Location:** Edina, MN

**Hours:** Monday to Friday 6:30 to 3:30 (must be available for OT during events- hours may shift depending on training needs)

**Length of Assignment:** 12 months **Job Duties:**

+ Develops, implements, coordinates, and maintains the training program to ensure compliance is achieved for all training policies / programs and requirements. (i.e., retraining frequencies, Department Training Matrix, needs assessments, etc.)

+ Updates department training matrices

+ Provides coaching to department training mentors and trainers on effective training methods and guides efforts to establish, maintain and train on best practices.

+ Instructs Training Mentor classes

+ Conducts Training Mentors audits

+ Leads Training Team meetings

+ Ensures department training goals are effective and aligned with plant, site, and business goals

+ Ensures department training goals are effective and aligned with plant, site, and business goals

+ Provides a training curriculum for Training Mentors

+ Ensures appropriate subject matter experts review and approve plant-specific training/learning resources and ensures that all learning resources are up-to-date and available.

+ Supports Training Mentors training documentation

+ Acts as the subject matter resource for training systems and coaches employees on how to access learning resources

+ Coordinates resources for delivery of plant training (i.e. qualified instructors, materials and/or facilities)

+ Complete surveys for Training Mentors & Trainees for the plant as needed

+ Communicates overdue training items to employees, empowered teams and as required, leadership.

+ Interacts with outside plant training contacts and functions.

+ (I.e. Site Learning Network, etc.)

+ Attends training network meetings

+ Accountable for the plants Equipment Training Process steps that are assigned to this role per the Plant specific Training Program.

+ Serve as a site facilitator for various learning sessions (LCS, HR courses).

+ Provide Kelly Services personnel with training as needed, including orientation. Tracks learning courses locally, and initiates recertification of those courses as needed.


+ 2 or 4 year degree in Business or 3- 5 years equivalent relevant experience or 6+ years equivalent relevant experience.

+ Requires up to 3-5 years of training experience. If you have worked with manufacturing or training for production roles, that would be a plus.

+ Proficient with Microsoft suite at an intermediate to advanced level-

+ Experience with Word templates and instructional design-a plus
