**Training Leader - Somerville, NJ**

Kelly Outsourcing & Consulting Group (KellyOCG), a managed solution provider and business unit of Kelly Services, Inc., is currently seeking a Training Leader for a long-term engagement at one of our Global Medical Device clients in Somerville, NJ **.** This role is a full-time, fully benefitted position. **Position Overview**

As a Training Leader placed with KellyOCG your primary focus will be leading and delivering on complex training projects directly engaged with customers to redesign their curricula and training for their functions. The Training Leader will support the site training function to develop and implement training programs that support company objectives and meet regulations.

**Position Responsibilities**

+ Consults with management, employees, and departments to identify training needs, address them and achieve the end result of effective training solutions.

+ Recommends the creation or acquisition and delivery of training programs that meet the company's needs.

+ Implements training metrics to monitor training effectiveness against needs of the business.

+ Summarizes training program assessment data and participant attendance reports and submits or presents to management.

+ Analyzes data as requested by management.

+ Ensures that all assigned personnel have the education, training and experience, or a combination of these, in order to carry out all job duties and responsibilities.

+ Creates new training materials as required in collaboration with subject matter experts.

+ Communicates and escalates issues to the next management level as needed.

+ Develops and maintains a training program to support the company needs and meet applicable local, federal and state laws/regulations.

+ Experience as subject matter trainer to conduct training sessions i.e. quality system related topics and to certify employees as trainers across the company.

+ Knowledge in Learning Management System (LMS) and its use to deploy training programs and requirements across the company.

+ Application of Basic Project Management and/or Process Excellence knowledge and skills

+ Reviews, interprets and explains documents such as technical data, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.

+ Leads projects of moderate to high complexity

+ Performs any other task as required by Training Manager

**Required Qualifications:**

+ A minimum of a bachelors degree is required, preferably in Business, Education, Industrial Engineering or other related technical field.

+ A minimum of 4 years of relevant work experience is required, with at least 2 years working in a training capacity / A minimum of 6 years of relevant work experience is required, with at least 2 years working in a training capacity.

+ Experience designing and presenting successful training programs required.

+ Experience working in manufacturing/operations or Research & Development/new product development is required.

+ Experience working in a FDA and/or European regulatory environment is preferred.

+ Comply with all applicable quality management system, environmental, safety and occupational health policies. (for example, ISO 13485, ISO14001 & OSHAS18001)


+ Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) and International Organization for Standardization (ISO) regulations preferred.

+ Project management experience required. Change management experience is preferred. Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) is required.

+ Learning Management System (LMS) experience is preferred.

+ Knowledge of Process Excellence/Six Sigma tools and methodologies preferred.

+ Training within Industry Methodology (TWI), American Society for Quality (ASQ) and/or Process Excellence/Six Sigma certifications preferred.

+ Must have excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills.

+ Strong coaching and leadership skills.

+ Fluent in English and local language.


This position will require up to 10% travel (15% travel)
