Kelly Services is looking for experienced Senior Inspector for a Fortune 500 Manufacturing company in Monument, Colorado. The Inspector is part of a global group of Supply Chain organization supporting operations. The Group strives to deliver an extraordinary customer experience through leading critical customer-facing-functions such as customer service, distribution and transportation. In addition, oversees critical business enablers, including how we bring together and lead supply chain master data, safe and secure supply chain practices, product identification standards, and market/channel access capabilities. It supports all three sectors Medical Devices (including Vision), Pharmaceutical, and Consumer Products. Located in every region of the world where the company operates, This is a critical component of our supply chain, working collaboratively to ensure that quality, safety and the experience of our customers is our top priority.



As the Senior Inspector, you are responsible for ensuring company products are in compliance with internal and external specifications by performing a variety of routine and non-routine inspections and evaluations. Under general supervision, you will perform a variety of product inspections, generally of finished goods, components, packaging materials, incoming materials or new products, by observing, measuring and recording data.



**Skills Required** : Understands and follows engineering specifications. Performs final inspections to customer and/or IPC standards. May use calipers, gauges, micrometers, etc. Identifies production flaws and corrects problems. Analyzes test results on defective units to determine cause of failure. May serve as a work group leader or trainer.




+ **Key Responsibilities:**

+ Inspect for visual, mechanical, and dimensional characteristics using inspection sheets and applicable sampling plans for:

+ supplier purchased product

+ in-process product

+ final product

+ manufacturing materials

+ components

+ packaging materials

+ labeling materials



**Education** : A minimum of a High School Diploma or equivalent is **required** . Associate's or Bachelor's degree **preferred.**




+ Minimum of two (2) years of relevant work experience **required** .

+ Experience utilizing inspection techniques desired, preferably in Medical Device or Pharmaceutical Industry.

+ Experience with measuring instruments in Quality Assurance such as micrometers, calipers, optical comparators and gages is preferred.

+ Experience with the interpretation of engineering drawings, preferred.

+ Experience with Microsoft PC applications, preferred.

+ Experience with MRP / ERP systems, preferred.

+ 20/30 or better in one or both eyes with correction, with the ability to perform color verification

+ Lifting weight up to 20 pounds on regular basis and up to 50 pounds on occasional basis is **required.**

+ The ability to stand and/or walk more than 80% of the time is required.

+ JD Edwards or SAP software experience **preferred**

+ High level of concentration and attention to detail is **required** ensuring products are inspected according to internal quality requirements.



**Work Hours:** 8am-4:30pm M-F



**Starting Pay Rate: $15.25 per hour.**
