Our client, a top 10 US Property & Casualty Insurer, is currently seeking a **n Underwriting Associate for** a **3+ month** temporary position with the possibility of temp to perm. The position is in **Malvern, PA.**

By working for our client, you will be exposed to a publically traded company (listed on the NYSE), work for a leader offering commercial, surety and personal insurance services, a firm with over 120 offices worldwide, work in a fast-paced corporate environment and be an integral part to the team.

The hours for this position are as follows: Monday to Friday 8:00am-5:00pm


This position serves as an integral member of the team by supporting our Associate Underwriting team with basic underwriting responsibilities and operational tasks. This individual will be responsible for providing day to day service performing tasks including, but not limited to:

+ Policy maintenance and servicing of accounts

+ Resolve basic underwriting issues by executing workflow procedures to ensure that brokers have a superior service experience

+ Provide quality service in accordance with published business unit service level agreements

+ Collaborate with both internal and external customers

+ Utilize Excel to capture and organize data and reporting

+ Document workflow procedures and processes


+ Data entry across various systems

+ Provide support to underwriting by performing a variety of data collection, file preparation and documentation storage related tasks

+ Perform other essential duties and special projects as assigned including but not limited to handling inspections and policy change requests

The ideal candidate will have a bachelors degree in Business or related field as well as 1-2 years of experience at a minimum in a related or administrative/accounting role. Must demonstrate superior problem-solving skills and work in a fast-paced environment. A strong understanding of basic accounting processes and procedures is helpful in this role. Basic computer skills including MS Office specifically MS Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPS, formulas, etc.) as well as strong organization and communications skills are also required. Must be available immediately for interview and to start.
