Description Kelly Services is currently hiring a **Validation Engineer** to work for one of our top Medical Device clients in Plymouth, MN

**Important information:** This position is recruited for by a remote Kelly office, not your local Kelly branch. Must be legally permitted to work in the United States.

**Position Summary:**

The engineer is responsible for generating all required documentation in support of the equipment and processes qualification, including project plan, IQ, OQ, PQ protocols/reports, and TMV.

**Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:**

Develops plans to evaluate process repeatability and stability through equipment qualification and process validation.

Generates all required documentation in support of the development and manufacturing products and processes, including project plan, IQ, OQ, PQ protocols/reports, TMV.

Designs, develops, and implements manufacturing equipment, fixturing and tooling.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams and outsourced partner to optimize the operation of equipment through the implementation of optimal run settings, line balancing, preventative and predictive maintenance plans and process analysis.

Solid understanding of modern manufacturing processes and equipment validation including but not limited to manufacturing assembly processes, cleaning process and testing.

Supports the resolution of product complaints and/or safety issues such as CAPAs.

Role may include project management responsibilities.

Prior medical device and project management experience desired.

**Education, Skills, & Experience Needed to Perform Position Function:**

Bachelor degree in Mechanical, Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience.

Minimum of 3-5 years of process engineering experience.

Prior experience in the medical device industry is preferred.

Proficient in Microsoft Office.

Experience with DOE, equipment IQ, OQ and PQ.

SolidWorks knowledge preferred.

Ability to work within an ISO structured quality system.

Knowledge of engineered materials and fabrication methods.

Good planning, multi-tasking, and project management skills.

Demonstrated track record of completing projects on time and accomplishing goals.
