**Whats a typical day as a Warehouse Clerk? Youll be:**


+ Primary responsibilities are to ensure all stock assets requested are issued correctly and in a timely manner. Responsible for the inventory control and validation of stocked assets and operating supplies, ensuring that they are ordered, inventoried, stored, maintained, identified, and issued in such a manner as to ensure an economical and efficient operation of the warehouse.

+ The Warehouse Clerk I coordinates day-to-day transactions; maintain 97 percent technical parts availability. This position works closely with maintenance and production departments, planners, foremen, and supervisors for stocked technical material.

+ Generate SAP pick lists and pull stock assets for customer counter pick-ups, phone requests, deliveries to other plants, and others as required.

+ Maintain manual or computerized issued records, such as stock assets issued, serviceable stock assets returned for credit, and emergency call-outs.

+ Put up stock, pull requested stock, and issue stock from inventory; credit stocked material to proper work orders, departments, cost centers, etc.

+ Verify the packing slips and or bill of lading from the previous days stock receipts against the daily stock receiving report.

+ Ensure all parts are identified, numbered, issued, received and are inventoried in the SAP system, and are organized on the shelves in a systematic manner.

+ Conduct routine inventories and cycle counts to ensure that inventory levels in SAP and items on shelf mirror one another.

+ Identify and resolve problems in a timely manner by responding promptly to customer needs and meet commitments.

+ Maintain a clean and safe work environment.

+ Respond promptly to customer needs and meet commitments.

+ Operate narrow aisle forklift, material handling equipment, and loading dock equipment.

+ Identify and resolve problems in a timely manner.

+ Complete administrative tasks accurately and on time.

+ Perform other duties as assigned.

+ Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

**This job might be an outstanding fit if you:**


+ High School Diploma or equivalent.

+ Must be physically fit to lift and carry up tp 50 pounds.

+ Be able to operate material handling equipment, knowledge of storeroom policies and practices.

+ Ability to work with all levels of management, vendors, and customers.

+ Skilled in planning, organizing, and managing multiple projects.

+ Knowledge of storeroom policies and practices, especially pertaining to receiving policies and practices.

+ Strong ability to work under constraints to produce positive results.

+ Two- or Three-years knowledge of current Windows environment and applications (i.e., Excel, Word, Outlook, Power Point, etc.).

+ Knowledge of SAP.

+ Three years of customer service skills with a commitment to meet or exceed customers requirements.

+ Oral Communication - Speaks clearly and persuasively in positive or negative situations; Listens and gets clarification; Responds well to questions; Demonstrates group presentation skills; Participates in meetings.

+ Customer Service - Manages difficult or emotional customer situations; Responds promptly to customer needs; Solicits customer feedback to improve service; Responds to requests for service and assistance; Meets commitments.

+ Problem Solving - Identifies and resolves problems in a timely manner; Gathers and analyzes information skillfully; Develops alternative solutions; Works well in group problem solving situations; Uses reason even when dealing with emotional topics.

+ Customer Focus Act to deliver customer value while achieving profitable business results; Deals with customer complaints in a fair and timely manner; Strives to exceed customer expectations within agreed cost structures; Recognizes and enhances own contribution to meet customer needs at the end of the value chain.

+ Dependability - Follows instructions, responds to management direction; Takes responsibility for own actions; Keeps commitments; Commits to long hours of work when necessary to reach goals; Completes tasks on time or notifies appropriate person with an alternate plan.
