POSITION: Quality Support Specialist
WORK LOCATION: Bridgewater MA
WORK HOURS:
1st shift: 7:00 am to 3:30 pm Monday - Thursday
RATE: $ 18 - 20.00/Hour
LENGTH OF ASSIGNMENT: Permanent with Benefits
Kelly Outsourcing & Consulting Group (KellyOCG), a managed solution provider and business unit of Kelly Services, Inc., is currently seeking a Quality Support Specialist for a long-term engagement at one of our Global clients in Bridgewater, MA.
This role is a full-time, fully benefitted position. As a KellyOCG employee you will be eligible for Medical, Dental, 401K and a variety of other benefits to choose from. As a Quality Support Specialist placed with KellyOCG you will be responsible for the following:
The Quality support specialist must demonstrate the ability to comprehend work assigned and work independently. This individual should be structured, organized, and detail oriented. Focus will be placed on teamwork through interaction with internal and external partners including, but not limited to, group leads, supervisors, management, and quality personnel. Additionally, this individual will participate in team-based activities and will be expected to perform projects as required by the business. Other tasks will arise and be assigned at the discretion of the supervisor. Up to 10% domestic travel required.
A minimum of 3 years of GxP experience is required
A minimum of 6 months of experience in a distribution or warehouse environment is required
Experience in a logistics, supply chain, manufacturing, or quality environment is required
Ability to rigorously follow procedures
Ability to create a real quality focus within the organization
Ability to build effective collaborative/partnering relationships with internal and external stakeholders
Strong communication skills, leadership skills, and staff development
Demonstrate technical expertise
Experience utilizing and understanding standard operating procedures (SOPs) is required
Proficient knowledge in Microsoft office products
Strong project management skills required
Process Excellence Methodologies, lean, Six Sigma, or green/black belt certification is preferred
Experience in a FDA and/or GMP regulated environment is preferred
OPERATIONAL:
Liaise between operations quality engineer and quality manager
Track and engage in open non-conformances (NCs) and corrective and preventive actions (CAPAs)
Attend weekly quality meetings
ETQ subject matter expert (SME)
Provide support in all internal and external audits
Ensure that the distribution center (DC) is prepared to successfully meet any internal or external audit
Ensure conformance to regulatory compliance requirements such as Verified-Accredited Wholesale Distributors (VAWD), business continuity plans (BCPs), etc.
Assist with DC licensing activities
Complete all other tasks/projects in support of the DC, as assigned by supervisor/management
STRATEGIC:
Manage relationships and communications with internal and external customers to support all customer needs
Participate in team-based activities
Communicate problems to supervisor
LEADERSHIP:
Exhibit the Customer five quality principals
Incorporate a lean workplace philosophy
Support on-going Environmental Health Safety initiatives 3-5 years experience required High school diploma required / degree preferred.
