Description- Storeroom Attendant - Warehouse

Loads and unloads material within a warehouse or storage facility. Utilizes hand trucks, forklifts, hoists, conveyors, or other handling equipment to move material to and from aircraft, trucks or trains and within the storage facility. May require a high school diploma with 0-3 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Has knowledge of commonly-used practices, and procedures within a particular field. Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job. Works under immediate supervision. Primary job functions do not typically require exercising independent judgment. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager.

**Requirements**

Storeroom Attendant :Minimum Requirements:

- High school graduate or equivalent education and/or experience.

- Must have the ability to write legibly and record accurately.

- Must acquire within such time frame as determined by the Company, the qualifications necessary to perform the duties of the next higher classification in the line of progression, or vacate the current job classification.

- Must meet all vehicle operation requirements as designated by federal and/or state law.

- In addition, for those locations that require a Commercial Drivers License (CDL), the incumbent must obtain a Commercial Driver's License (CDL) within two months of entry into this job classification or vacate the current job classification. In addition, The incumbent must obtain and retain all applicable CDL endorsements.

- Must have mechanical aptitude.

- Must understand and perform basic math functions.

- Must be able to safely lift and handle materials and equipment weighing up to 70 pounds.

- Must have the ability to operate the computer systems utilized by the Material Services organization.

- Successful completion and Support and Administrative (SASS) and Data Entry tests are required for this position. A review of Employment Testing Information, Test-Taking Tips, and Practice Tests may be helpful.
