Kelly Technology is currently recruiting for a Windows Administrator with background in Cyber Security. This role will be focused on IT Security projects but also provide on-call and server support. The ideal candidate will have a good balance of Cyber Security experience including managing security tools, antivirus, intrusion detection systems, firewalls and also Windows System Administration experience including managing enterprise systems, Active Directory forests and setting up servers.


As a member of the Information Technology team, the Windows Administrator is responsible for contributing to the development of next generation projects to protect systems and networks from Cyber Threats. This position also handles systems management (server patching, maintenance, troubleshooting) as part of the Infrastructure Engineering team.


**Position responsibilities:**


+ Support daily Security Operations

+ Use technologies to manage risk in the environment

+ Design upgrades of existing security infrastructure

+ Develops and defines system security, data management practices and procedures for IT infrastructure, services, and applications

+ Defines, and implements network and systems security controls, including encryption and authentication standards, access controls, anti-malware services, and updating critical services and equipment with recent and secure versions of software

+ Acts as the technology security consultant on project development, support requirements and implementation of any new application or infrastructure

+ Evaluates and makes recommendations on current processes, practices, or technologies that would enhance the companys security health across all platforms

+ Administer testing/security controls based on software/hardware requirements, technical specifications and/or change control requests

+ Continually adjust systems to optimize system performance and functionality; work with support groups to help perform root cause analysis of issues and identify solutions

+ Participate in on-call rotation.


**Position requirements:**


+ Bachelors Degree (B.S.) from a four-year college or university preferably in Computer Science or Engineering; At least 5 years demonstrated work experience in information technology

+ 3+ years' experience in Information Security or Network Security in an enterprise environment

+ Experience managing Windows Servers/Applications in an Enterprise. Including (but not limited to): Active Directory, DHCP, DNS, IIS, GPOs

+ Experience in managing virtualization platforms (VMWare, Citrix)

+ Managing production servers and application in AWS

+ Troubleshooting of systems and networking

+ Experience with IPS, IDS and IDPS systems and products

+ Risk assessment and mitigation expertise

+ Experience overseeing information security/technology projects from start to finish

+ Excellent written/verbal communication skills

+ EDR and NGAV management experience

+ Work well independently and in a team setting

+ Attention to detail

+ Ability to troubleshoot and problem solve


**Additional competencies:**


+ Managing Palo Alto Firewalls

+ Implementing and managing IAM solutions

+ Experience working with Linux systems if preferred, but not required

+ Implementation of Vulnerability Management Systems

+ Pen-Testing Experience is preferred, but not required

+ Securing systems in the Cloud, particularly AWS
