**WORKDAY REPORT DEVELOPER**


**Position is currently remote, but must report to the office in Austin, Texas after COVID restrictions are lifted.** **_Local candidates are preferred._**

**LOCATION:** Austin, Texas


**Summary:**


Our client currently seeks a Workday HCM Developer to manage the development and implementation process of a Workday and Prism solutions.


You will coordinate departmental or cross-functional teams, focused on delivering new or upgrading existing reporting and analytics products.


Partner with engineering teams in People Analytics and IS&T to build integrations and standardization across analytics platforms.


Build out the prism and workday analytics platform and portfolio.


**Responsibilities:**


+ Experience developing project plans and managing complex, cross functional projects

+ Design, develop, configure, and test simple to complex Workday reports (advanced, matrix, composite, BIRT) utilizing Workday Report Writer and Report Designer, as well as other organizational tools and available technologies

+ Develop and execute unit/system test plans; ensuring delivery of a quality product

+ Evaluate evolving Workday and Prism reporting functionality, remaining cognizant of complex system inter-dependencies and associated business process implications.

+ Partner with stakeholders (internal/external) to understand report/data requirements and ensure results meet the business needs

+ Provide cross-functional understanding of data and support in the validation of new and revised reports.

+ Provide technical guidance on the Prism product development, integrations and data model

+ Have deep expertise in PRISM and Workday data source, reports and dashboards development

+ Develop Reports and Dashboards in Workday and Prism

+ Build management system for engineering development operations for Workday and Prism

+ Build and manage data models but blending multiple data sources in Workday and Prism

+ Deep Analytics experience including python, SQL preferred

+ Required development experience in Workday and Prism

+ Implement proof of concepts to confirm feasibility of requirements

+ Work with technology/security teams to define and create calc fields, security policies and other Workday objects to support the evolving reporting needs of the organization

+ Troubleshoot report related issues and resolve issues in a timely manner

+ Lead efforts to analyze and optimize report performance

+ Maintain proper change management documentation to satisfy the companys internal/external audit controls

+ Serve as an escalation point for troubleshooting reporting inquires/issues

+ Review system upgrades/releases to determine overall business impact, conduct regression testing and make recommendations for future enhancements/functionality

+ Maintain awareness of current trends in Workday reporting and best practices


**Qualifications Required:**


+ Minimum of 4-5+ years proficiently in Workday HCM report writing/calc fields (includes creating dashboards in Workday) required

+ Functional knowledge on Workday modules such as Core HR, Compensation, Talent Management.

+ Deep knowledge of Workday and Prism data sources and complex calculated fields

+ Ability to understand the business requirements, user needs and translate them into operational requirements

+ Ability to collect, organize, analyze and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy with highly confidential data

+ Understand complexities and nuances with reporting on different organizational hierarchies

+ Knowledge of OX or Solutions to perform code promotion.

+ Advanced proficiency with MS Excel (creating graphics, charts)

+ Ability to manage change effectively always mindful of technology, business processes, and systems implications

+ Experience in project management methodologies

+ Self-motivated with a focus on driving results and strong sense of accountability

+ Demonstrated experience in analytical thinking and problem-solving

+ Superior collaboration, communication, and organizational skills

+ Flexible, self-motivated, curious


**Education:** Min. of a 4 year degree.
